THE MARQUIS ‘S BEDROOM

This room is the largest in the castle and deserves its royal title; Overlooking the French garden, it is located in the middle of the castle in the main axis of the perspective of the garden. Equipped with Louis XVI furniture, it has the largest bed of the castle. The bathroom, recently renovated, has retained all its charm, the old cast iron bathtub is ideal for lounging the time of a bath. A shower was added in 2017 to bring more modern comfort

The former “maid’s room” located halfway up the floor and adjacent to the room is now a charming little room enjoying one of the prettiest views of the French garden. It is accessed by a private staircase and hidden between the bathroom and the master bedroom.
